A Season For The Books
All right, this soccer season has been past the point of interesting. First off, one of our three captains fractured her knee and tore her ACL in a pre-season game, then another one of our captains walked off the field and quit. So I was the only one left. So we voted again, and now we have our captains, four! Anywho back to the intense stuff... One of our players got in a fist fight with a girl from Mazama and got a red card and couldn't play today. To make things worse one of our players broke her leg in two places in our game today. Needless to say... it's been a rough season. Keep in mind also that all these players that we have lost are the best soccer players on our team.
Frustration....

I was right to discontinue my relationship with sports. I'm a spectator and a fumbler. That's it. Besides, what rational, thinking creature would participate in a sport where the players actually enjoy getting hit in the head by a ball. Lunatics! Though I guess I could see you playing it. For soccer is all very well as a game for rough girls, but is hardly suitable for delicate boys.
